Sky Eater is the dreamy lovechild of water spirit Chelsea Skyeater and dub soldier TK Bassdread. Chelsea’s soaring vocals and TK’s rootsy soundscapes create a contemporary fusion of dub, trip-hop and soulful pop that warms the heart. Think reverb-soaked piano, dreamy vocal melodies, trip hop and reggae-infused beats with intuitive lyrics and sparkly jungle influences. And when they feel like dialling things up a notch further, they add in a powerhouse, all-female horn and backing vocal section featuring MsEleneous on clarinet and sax, and Aya Trumpet on the trumpet.
