Speaker: Dr Liam Engel, themescalinegarden.com

About: San Pedro are psychedelic, columnar, mescaline-containing cacti, originating in the Andes Mountain Range. There are thirty or more species in the San Pedro group, as well as intergeneric hybrids and cultivars selectively bred for potency, coloured flowers, unique forms and many other qualities attractive to humans.

Whether you’re an old head hunting for a white whale, or new to the world of cacti complexity, this event is a chance to find a new, special San Pedro to introduce your garden. In the style of Oprah Winfrey and David Attenborough’s overstimulated love child, Dr Liam Engel will describe and offer plants to the highest bidder.

Come and grow your magic plant collection or simply enjoy the spectacle of mad San Pedro aficionados.
